This was a very special event for a truly inspirational woman, Susan Catlett. Part of the production for this event, was a video component. I went to Susan's home last year and filmed a few hours of footage and compiled it into a 25 minute video for the event. Knowing she has ALS which is probably one of the worst diseases a person can develop, I didn't know what to expect. The time I spent with her was a delightful experience I would not have expected. She is FULL of energy, humor, wit and has one of the broadest perspectives on life I have encountered. It was a 'recharging' experience. For the event, we were doing sound, lighting and running video and Powerpoint into the Citrus Heights Community Center's 3 Christie Projectors and screens. It's an impressive facility. The event ran perfectly and Tricia (Susan's Daughter) did a brilliant job of planning an event that was the perfect length of time with a flowing script. This was a really fun event and I am honored to have been a part of it.
